overland travel from india to butan
The road from Thimph/Paro to the Indian border at Phuntsholing is being upgraded and it was a ten and a half hour horror journey through road works/shear drops with no barriers in November and we were told it was a 1 year+ project.
If you are young,enjoy extreme sports and have a great head for heights and a good mask( for the dust) you could get through with an average heart rate of 160+ !!
If not, fly in.
