Trekking !

Hi ..

You can do a trekking in Bhutan.

Trekking !

Hello,

To look at different options I advise you to see the sites of touroperators who usually describe the treks. Unfortunately the official site of Bhutan is still under construction and I didn%26#39;t find the treks as before.

Which trek is good for you depends on your port of entry. The Gangtey trek is 3 days and very nice, but starts from Phobjikha. The Bumtang trek is also 3 days, but farther in the centre of the country.

I saw that in Haa some new treks are developed, so maybe worth asking.

Anyhow, I think it is best to contact a local tour operator who can organise all the logistics for your trek and advise you accordingly.

Have a great time.

Hi,

the lonely planet guide book has descibed some of the treks you can do. I think there will be something for everybody. Best to ask the tour operator and tell them of your abilities. We did the Bumthang Cultural trek which gets you up to 3500m and into some beautiful country and villages.

I know they do rafting on the Mo Chu or Po chu in Punakha. Some operators have all the equipment but there will be an extra charge I think. I think Xplore Bhutan deals with kayaking and rafting.

Enjoy your trip.
