Jhomolhari Trek
Hi Udi,
All treks in Bhutan are in pure nature, most passing only very small villages. I%26#39;ve done the Bumthang trek and the Gangtey trek, on both we met only a very few people, and were in the middle of nature. Almost no other trekkers as well.
You can meet Bhutanese in lot of places,on your way in villages your car passes, in the Thimphu, and if you have special interests, like visiting a school or clinic, you can get into contact with the local people there. As English is the language taught in at school, children from young age all speak some, and they love to talk to tourists, without asking for anything like in India or Nepal.
The Jumolhari trek is a bit longer, and is supposed to be very special. I plan to do this trek next autumn.
Enjoy your planning.
