Bhutan Tours, Travel and Adventures

Hi Singaporemarc,

I am planning to bring my parents to Bhutan. So you think its advisable to bring old people to tour Bhutan? They are in their 50s and 60s.

Anything to look out for? Is it safe and possible to go on our own?

Thanks!

Regards,

Bunnyow

yes you can take them to Bhutan. it is safe, dont worry about it.

more over they will have such a memorable visit to Bhutan. it is very unique and virgin destination.

Singaporemarc,

First let us please know when and where you%26#39;ve been to Bhutan, by writing a trip-report. What places did you visit, for how long, what dates. Thank you.

my first visit was in 1990 when it was government. 2visit with Takin Tours in 1995 and 3rd visit in 2006 with Bhutan Men-Lha Adventures.

First visit for whole Bhutan. There was no any good hotels in most of the places, Like Punakha, Trongsa, Bumthang, Mongar, Trashigung, and Samdupjonka.

second visit was better, and 3rd visit i have seen vase different from my previous visit. everywhere developed with good hotels and even few of the luxury hotels came up.

i have done all my trip for 22days with my friends.

any question. i keep on reading most of the books on Bhutan.

Thanks, it must be a great experience to see the development of Bhutan in a lot of ways.

Did you do any trekking, or other activity?

What months were you there? What season?

What was good about the tour agents you used, and what could be improved? How was the food comparing your first and last time?

Did you have any views of wild animals? And where?

Thanks again.

Old at 50 and 60? Ouch! My 70 year old husband and I (57) just returned from a fabulous tour of Bhutan, including some rather arduous hikes ... my husband has a new hip and needs a new knee.

Try Hishey Tshering at Bhutan Birding %26amp; Heritage Tours. I highly recommend him. www.bhutanheritage.com
