Hotel in Paro

Hi, I will be in Bhutan in October. Has anybody stayed in the Holiday Home Hotel in Paro?

If so please let me know whether this is an OK choice.

Hotel in Paro

Have not heard of it. We stayed at the Gangtey Palace in Paro - which was fantastic (for charm, views and ambiance.) And - it is included in your basic tariff.

The Holiday Home looks to be a couple kms from Paro town itself - but seems new.

Hotel in Paro

We stayed mostly in Namsey Hotel, a bit outside Paro, a wonderful place, with huge clean and nice rooms. Once in Mandala resort, more towards the town, with smaller rooms, also clean, and a lot of stairs, inside and outside the hotel.

I guess you%26#39;re going with a travelagent. You can ask him for references, and get information from his previous clients.

Usually your agent will book whatever is available, and not so much a guest%26#39;s choice.
