Hi,

Try to read a bit about Bhutan, so you%26#39;ll see what%26#39;s interesting for you.

Bhutan is very scenic and has a lot of %26#39;empty%26#39; nature, meaning that you don%26#39;t see so many houses and farms.

I guess you%26#39;ll arrive by road via Phuentsholing, then you can either take east, to Thimphu the capital, do some sightseeing and head towards Punakha, where you can do some day walks, and do not miss the beautiful Dzong. If you want, continue to Phobjikha-valley, where the black-necked cranes should be in December. A lovely valley with opportunities for short and long walks.

Further east is Bumthang, but it is a long drive and if you do it yourself, beeing an Indian, it can take long hours. I think for 10 days concentrate on the part I mentioned before including Phobjikha. Returning west you can pass Thimphu and continue to Paro, a very nice valley too, where the airport is. In this valley you can start the climb to Taktsang Monastry, well worth but not easy. Better to do this at the end of your trip, as a highlight and beeing acclimatised a bit easier.Paro museum gives a good overview of the history of Bhutan.

As most food is buffet-served, it is no problem at all to eat vegetarian. It is most rice and cooked vegetables, filling enough.

The climate should be cool with temperatures below zero at night, snow in the mountains.Have a look at:

Hope this helps.

We went to Bhutan in March, and my wife and I are both vegetarian. If you%26#39;re vegan, it could get a bit boring - as melted cheese does play a part in one of the national delicacies, ema datse. We had absolutely no problem with the food, though at some places the veg options were a bit bland. If you make it to Wangi, there is an excellent hotel called Kichu Resort, which is serves strictly vegetarian food.

hi bhutan traveler..

please plan for us a 10 day tour for us..

we are planning to land at paro..

than what all should we cover, considering my parents are 45+ but still fit.

we love nature, and snow.. but the places should have neat hotels and comfortable stay too..

please suggest thanks in advance

Thank you for the honour.

As I%26#39;ve been to Bhutan three times, I%26#39;ll give you my experiences. I%26#39;m working on it. As you sent me a PM too, I%26#39;ll write you back later on.
