As one who has been twice to Bhutan and plans a third trip, I%26#39;d advise you first to read about Bhutan, decide what you want to experience, and with whom, and then you can decide on season. The official site: www.tourism.gov.bt gives a good overview of treks and places.Via Tripadvisor I found a lot of interesting articles. All season have their charms, most people come in spring,, when the rhodondendron has flowers, or in autumn with its beautiful colours. As you maybe know, you can visit Bhutan only with a guide on a prepaid and preorganised trip, you can make your own group of one or more persons. So you can ask your travelagent as well for advise. I%26#39;d advise you to contact a local travelagent, in order to avoid paying extra for in-between people. If you need more information, I%26#39;m happy to help.M.

Thanks for the information. I am more attracted to the nature beuty of this paradise country, probably the last place on earth not polluted by modernization. I am looking forward to visiting in May or June. What will be the major attraction at that time?

Infact all season have their different speciality. However March to may is a beautiful season for flowers and also festivals. August to November is also for festival and for trekking. But during that season there will be many toursit resulting in less choice of accomodation.

Well all the seasons will be the best for your travel to Bhutan. But there are chances of road blocks due to heavy rains in July and august months. So try to avoid this months. Well since the official website of Tourism is facing some technical problems try to find the tour operators lists from Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators website (ABTO).

We were there in October and it is the beginning of the season recommended in the Fall and then another time is starting in March.

accept then July and August, i would say rest of the month are good season to travel to Bhutan. yes ofcourse if you are interested to witness festival then it should be in spring season and Autumn Season. which is March-May and September - November.

try to get more information by finding out the website of different Local Tour operator%26#39;s online by typing on GOOGLE.COM e.g : bhutan tour, bhutan trekking, bhutan people, bhutan visit. and etc....

you will find more local tour operator who will be able to give you the correct information.
