I am dreaming of going tu Bhutan one day... I%26#39;m still young and dream yes :)
For the moment I am finishing my tourism and leisure degree and i write a thesis over Bhutan and the sustainable tourism in Bhutan. If you have any interesting information about it it would be more than welcome :)
For those who have allready be in Bhutan can you please help me by answering a few questions? thank you in advance :)
-How people were there? Friendly? Hospitable? English speaking ? other first impressions?
-What activities have you done there ? (sport, cultural etc) why you chose that visits ?
-Was the visit really ';value for money'; given the high daily fee?
- Would you visit the country again and why? Any specific location you wish to visit again? Or any location you didn鈥檛 had the opportunity to visit would worth another visit?
-Did you feel special as you had the opportunity to visit this unknown country?
- Were the other tourists / visitors educated or not? (personal opinion)
-Did the locals made you feel special or you felt that you were just an income to them?
-Did you think your visit may have improve their life (with your contribution as a tourist)?
-Did you think your visit was eco-friendly? Did you guide or any other local gave you some advice to make your visit more eco-friendly?
-Could Bhutan develop more tourism according to your views and impressions and how? Which areas could be more developed? What would be the main constraint(s) for more development and where in Bhutan?
-Your overall impression of your visit-was it according to the image you have formed before going, from what you have read in guide books and visited in Internet?
-What was very good to remember and impressed you and what you found could be different/improved?
-Any other comments about your visit in Bhutan?
Thank you in advance for your answers.
