Hotels were all decent. All had HARD BEDS except for the first room at Meripuensum and Swiss guest house---both places had foam on top of hard mattresses.
Pardon spelling errors
Paro---Namsey Choling--2 nights at beginning and 2 nights at the end. Same room both times.
Thimpu---Phuntsho Pelri --2 nights
Punakha---Meripuensum---1 night going east, 1 night going west, 2 different rooms
Trongsa--Puenzi Guest House---1 night
Bumthang---Swiss Guest House ---3 nights
Favorite by far was Swiss Guest House.
I%26#39;ll write individual reviews for each hotel on hotel pages.
Trip Report---Hotels
What hotel pages? I%26#39;m not sure I know how to fully navigate this website. Is there another section for just hotels?
Did you request your hotels or did Nirvana just arrange them for you?
Trip Report---Hotels
Look on left side of this page towards the top at section that says Bhutan Hotels. They are arranged by city/town.
Nirvana makes the reservations. You can request specific hotels. If you don%26#39;t request anything specific, they will make reservations at the hotels they have usually used.
I did request Swiss Guest House. The others they just booked me into. There is a good review on this site of a place outside of Punakha that sounds like a great option for the the Punakha area. Punatatashchuu Cottages or something like that.
There are so many new hotels being built that have no reviews yet, and the guide didn%26#39;t even know much about them yet.
